Headquartered in Daytona Beach, Florida, LitigationCafe (LC) is
a privately held company formed for the purpose of improving
client-prospecting methods for professionals utilizing public
records data as a basis for direct mail solicitations.
LC utilizes the application
service provider (ASP) model to provide its clients with a very
efficient and flexible solution. The company first introduced its
web-based product to clients in Central Florida and
continues to aggressively expand its geographic reach and
subscriber base.

James
R. Evans
Co-Chief Executive Officer,

Jim is co-founder of
LitigationCafe and currently serves as Co-Chief Executive
Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Jim was admitted to
the Florida Bar in 1995 and began his legal career as a
prosecutor in the State Attorney’s Office, Seventh
Judicial Circuit, Volusia County, Florida. In 1997, Jim
joined the firm of Monaco, Smith, Hood, Perkins, Loucks, Stout
& Orfinger. He departed in June 1999 to establish his
own practice, James R. Evans, P.A. His office litigates
primarily in the field of criminal defense and cases
involving serious personal injury.
In 1991, Jim received
his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from
Stetson University, DeLand, Florida, which combined
studies in the fields of management and finance. In
December 1994, he earned his Juris Doctorate from the
Stetson University College of Law, St. Petersburg,
Florida. Jim is a member of the U.S. District Court,
Middle District of Florida; the Volusia County Bar
Association; Volusia County Criminal Defense Lawyer’s
Association; Florida Criminal Defense Lawyer’s
Association; and the National Association of Criminal
Defense Lawyers.

Brian
S. O'Rourke
Co-Chief Executive Officer,

Brian is co-founder of
LitigationCafe and serves as Co-Chief Executive Officer
and Chief Strategy Officer. From 1994 to 2001, Brian
worked for media communications company R.R. Donnelley
& Sons, serving most recently as Manager of
Competitive Intelligence in the Corporate Strategy
department, Chicago. His responsibilities included the
overall project management of several enterprise-wide
Internet and Intranet initiatives, as well as strategic
analysis of competitors primarily operating in the graphic
arts industries. In 1998, Brian founded Sparky Software
and continues to serve as the company's President.
In 1992, Brian
received a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising from
the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida. In 1998,
he completed graduate business studies by receiving a
Master of Business Administration degree from Stetson
University, DeLand, Florida.
